1. paper table. a table is covered with a large blank canvas and during an evening of interaction those gathered around the table use pens to express, reflect and explain.
findings: the canvas was covered in scribblings that generally followed the participants conversations. marks also show where people were sitting, how close to others and hints as to what they were doing (potato skin smudges, tomato sauce spills...etc).
2. Pliable doorway. a doorway is fitted with a malleable curtain to observe and track movement through the space.
